Got a weird voicemail about my "account" needing verification.

I got this strange voicemail on Wednesday the 17th. It was from someone named Annalise, saying she was from the "account oversight desk" with the "filing assistance office."

She said my file was pulled and has unconfirmed items that need immediate verification. That if it stays in this stage, it moves to a restrictive status. They have a "proprietary verification line" to connect instantly.

She left a number to call back: 888-983-1766. She repeated it. Said if I got the message in error, to call back and press 3 to be removed.

I never signed up for anything with them. The whole thing felt off. I didn't call the number.
