Loan approved then asked for more and more money I never got back

They approved me for a $5k loan but said I needed collateral so I paid $758. Then they asked for the full collateral so I paid that too. Then they said I needed insurance which would be refunded. First it was a partial amount, then they wanted the full amount. I paid that as well.

Even though they said in emails they would cover everything, they then said I needed to pay taxes. I refused and asked for a full refund. They said it will take a month to get my money back. I told them they have my direct deposit so just put it back but they refuse to do it. I lost $4185.50 total.
