Lost $77,000 in a crypto dropshipping scam website
I got introduced to this website, aelvy.com, through someone on WhatsApp. It was supposed to be an American site for luxury goods dropshipping. The person who referred me helped me set up a shop, so I trusted it.
Right away, things felt off. Every order would block the buyer's funds and I only had 72 hours to pay the manufacturer myself. I couldn't say no to orders or even talk to the buyers. Trying to fix shipping problems never worked. I kept having to put more crypto into my shop balance just to keep my reputation score up. Then on January 6th, another shop owner messaged me saying "scam shop, run." I found at least three other people from Taiwan, Hong Kong, Australia, and France stuck in the same exact situation.
When I tried to close my shop, they had new rules blocking me. Then they froze our accounts. Between the four of us, we lost from $40,000 to $200,000. My part was $77,000. The email for them is [email protected].
