Hired someone for home renovation and they took my deposit

I hired these people to renovate a property. They had an address on west street in Morris, CT and their email was [email protected]. Phone number they gave was (860) 309-2715.

They took a deposit from me. $17,000. And then never did any of the work. I kept waiting and waiting but nothing happened. No show, no call, nothing.

I tried reaching out but got no reply. Just out all that money with nothing to show for it.
