Charged $99 for nothing after trying to upsell me on fake mold

I saw an ad for air duct cleaning, a whole house deal for $99 to $189. I scheduled it. I wasn't home but my husband was. The guy shows up with no equipment, just a camera. He goes into the attic and comes down saying "you have mold." He claimed a regular cleaning would make it worse. Then he said fixing it would be $900 to $1400.

I said no. They still charged my card the $99 for doing nothing. I tried calling the number I had for them with my complaints. No one ever responded. I had to stop the payment with my bank. They didn't leave a receipt or any pictures or proof or even a written estimate. It felt so off. I just had a real HVAC cleaning done recently and they would have known if there was mold. Total scammers.
