I just got a text message out of the blue. It said I had applied for a $40,000 loan and that someone named "Alexis" wanted me to call them back to discuss it.
I never applied for any loan. I don't know who this is or where they got my number. The whole thing felt off. I didn't call back, but it's annoying to get these messages for something I didn't do.
