Got a strange voicemail about a loan I never applied for.

I got a voicemail from a guy named Anthony Gonzalez. He said he was calling about the status of my personal loan request for $46,000. He called himself an account specialist.

I never applied for any loan. He left a number, 833-588-3793, saying I could reach him or his team there. The message talked about pending income verification and a balance transfer option, asking for account information to pay off balances.

The whole thing felt off. I don't know who this is or how they got my number. I didn't lose any money, but I don't like getting these calls about loans I never asked for.
