AT&T (Impersonator) Reviews

Text and email said my AT&T promotion was ending and wanted gift cards

I got a text and then some phone calls from people saying they were AT&T. They told me my promotional period was ending but they had more promotions available. They gave me phone numbers and even sent an email with an invoice that looked like a new contract.

They said because the promotion was through DoorDash I had to pay using DoorDash gift cards to support their business. So I gave them the gift card pins for the fraud accounts department. That was $800. Then they called back the next day saying there was an error because the system was overwhelmed and I needed to do the whole transaction again. I didn't do it.

I called AT&T myself and asked about the promotion. That's when I found out it was all fake. Just an imposter. The number they used was (404) 259-0961 and the email was [email protected].
