Ordered a mini excavator and got charged full price

I found this company online and they had a good deal on a mini excavator. So I placed the order. On the order form it said they would just put a hold on the funds until the purchase was done processing. That sounded normal enough to me.

I called the number and the guy said they were available 24/7 at that number. So I went ahead and thought I could cancel if I needed to after the hold. But they charged my payment method the full amount right away. Now nobody answers the phone or replies to emails. The name of the company on the charge didn't even match the business I ordered from.

I'm pretty sure I'm not getting the excavator and it's going to be a headache getting my money back even though I used PayPal. Lost $5,499.00.
