Got a scam text saying Best Buy charged my card

I got a text saying Best Buy charged my credit card for $539.28. The message told me to reply Yes or No. I knew right away it was a scam, so I flagged it.
Sorry, the text somehow got deleted from my phone. I don't have a screenshot to upload.

Got a fake Best Buy renewal email, then spam calls

I got an email telling me to renew a Best Buy membership. I called the number they gave, (856) 200-8245, and it felt off right away. It didn't have the normal company greeting or menu options. I just hung up.

I trashed the email and blocked the number. Then I started getting calls from that same number, but I didn't answer. The weird thing is, the original email I got just disappeared from my inbox. Later, my phone flagged the number as potential spam. The whole thing was just a phishing attempt.
