Phone call claiming to be from a local department about documents

Got a call from this number (424) 236-7817. The guy said it was urgent and from my local department of documents, procedures, and conduct. Said I needed to call back right away or they would hand deliver documents to my home or work. Sounded official I guess.

So I called back. Some kid answered and said he worked for something called Brenton and Associates. I looked them up in California and the company is terminated. He would not tell me any details about what the documents were. Then he threatened to send someone to my house to hand deliver them. I told him fine I will wait for the actual papers. He just hung up on me.
