Phone call about a lawsuit and a debt from 2013

Got a call from someone saying they were a process server and had documents to serve me for a lawsuit. They wanted to know where I’d be tomorrow at a certain time. I told them I wasn’t giving that info out. Then they said I had to contact Brenton and associates and gave me a number.

So I called. They told me all my information instead of asking for it. Said I had a personal loan from some ez money services back in 2013. I did make a few payments but stopped. Then they said they’d stop legal action if I paid $1500 instead of the $4041.50 I supposedly owed. They emailed me a document and said I had 24 hours to sign and pay or legal action would happen.

I looked up the address they gave, 8383 Wiltshire in Beverly Hills. Called the building owners and they have no record of that law firm or business at that address or suite. Seen other people saying this is a scam, so figured I’d report it.
