Our first dealing with Bud's exceeded our expectationsBeing nervous due to the fact that we have been "duped" by other heating and air companies before, we were expecting an exuberant cost for things that may not really be wrong Not only was the cost reasonable, the individual that serviced are air conditioner was professional, honest and very efficientI definitely would highly recommend this company
they came out for a inspection of the heatpump.they told me I has a leak in the outside coil an dto fix that it would run about [redacted] to repair. I called a second company to verify I had a leak. the second company was here over three hours and couldn't find a leak. when the tech from buds was here it was about 35 minutes and didn't show me the leak. I ask him about the unit since it was only six yrs old. he said I should get a new unit .he also told me the copper line was to small and that could have caused the leak.since then I found out that the line is the correct line and I don't have a leak. I called the owner and he said he would come out next week and check it for himself. I didn't get satisfied nor comfortable about what he had to say.
Which Buds service was this? The one in DFW Texas always would show us the problem and confirm whether it is under warranty or not. The other guys did not tell us it was under warranty and expected us to pay normal price, when in reality the tech from Buds confirmed that the parts were under warranty and the other companies were being dishonest. It cost one third of what the other guys had estimated. The company in the Dallas Texas area is honest and dependable.
