Got a scary email about a debt I don't owe

I got this email from an [email protected]. It says it's a "FINAL JUDICIAL DEMAND NOTICE" about an account with Cash Advance INC. They claim I owe over $2800 and that my case is in active default.

The email says I have to respond within 4 hours or they'll start legal proceedings. They offered a settlement for about $997. I have never had an account with Cash Advance INC. I don't owe this money. Getting an email like this out of the blue is really alarming. It feels like a scam trying to scare me into paying something.
