Got a call from someone pretending to be Chase Bank

I got a call from someone saying they were from Chase Bank. They knew my full name and everything. They started asking me about a credit card, they even had the last four digits of it.

Then they told me someone charged $900 on that card for firearms in New York. They said they needed to lock all my accounts. It felt off right away, so I just hung up the phone. I don't know what they were going to try to do next.

Chase let a scammer wire out $2,490 and take all my miles, then wouldn't help

My computer shut down and then I got a call. They said they'd fix it and did a screen share. Next thing I knew, $2,490 was wired out of my checking account and all my Chase miles were gone—they turned them into gift cards.

I contacted Chase right away and closed my checking account and all my Chase cards. But Chase has not been helpful at all. They say they won't be responsible for my loss and have been terrible to deal with. I filed a police report. Everything is documented from January 9, 2026.

I am so disturbed by this. Chase never texted, called, or emailed me about any of it. They just let the transactions go through.
