Review: I made an appointment to get my dog a [redacted] shot on the internet, stating in my online request, only a [redacted] shot was desired. When I arrived, I signed no papers, was asked if I was there for only a [redacted] shot, I confirmed only a [redacted] shot, no stipulations, or explanation that anything but a [redacted] shot would be: given, or paid for. When I and my dog were seen by the Vet for 7 minutes, the VET asked me if I was here only for a [redacted] shot, again I confirmed. When I was checking out, I was told the bill was 87.00. I asked why and was then informed that the VET gave a physical, and this was required by law before administering the [redacted] vaccine. I disputed, but the service rep stated that was the price. I returned home and filed a complaint with the clinic and they have not responded. $87.00 is an outrageous price for a [redacted] shot, I confirmed with other pet care sources confirming a price in the range between ten and twenty five dollars. Had I been informed a physical was required, the cost before actually seeing the VET, I never would have accepted the service.Desired Settlement: I would like a $60.00 refund, and the clinic informing their patients of estimated costs BEFORE services. This is entrapment since no cost is explained before hand.
