Someone pretending to be Comcast support asked me for payment and personal info

I wanted to report a scam I ran into. Somebody called from 833-546-7612 and said they were from Comcast customer support. They had this page up titled “Can you still access Comcast emails? {Updated Guide}” which looked pretty real so I thought it was legit. I called them because I needed help with my Comcast email account.

The person on the other end started asking for personal information and then said I needed to pay for services I didn't ask for. It was pretty obvious after a minute it was a scam. They were trying to get money out of me for nothing.

I didn't lose any money but I want this number looked into so other people don't get tricked.
