Two weird calls about my credit cards and a Discover loan

I got a call from some guy who said he was transferring me to the Credit Bureau of Experience. He started listing off all my credit cards, but he didn’t know the security codes. Then he asked me for the security code “to be sure nobody was using the card.” I said no and hung up.

A few days later I got another call from 559-402-9480. This guy said my Discover loan was being bought out by a bank and I would have to start making payments to them. That didn’t sound right so I called Discover directly. They told me no, they were not being bought out.
