Credit card company let a second charge through after first fraud claim

I got a call from my credit card company asking if I made a purchase for 49.99. I told them no, so they said they put a hold on the payment and issued me a new card. That seemed fine at the time.

Then when I got my bill there was another charge for 29.99 on it that I also did not make. So I called them again and they said they would not hold me responsible for that second charge either. But I still had to deal with it on my bill and it just felt weird that it even happened after they already knew about the first one.
