Paid $2500 for debt relief and nothing happened for 8 months

I got a call from them saying they were a debt relief program and could wipe out my debt. They got me on a three-way call with my credit card company and took $2500 from me.

They told me to just pay the minimum payment for three months and not pay anything else. They said they would take care of everything. But nothing has been done at all, and it's been eight months now.
