Phone call about legal documents with no company name

I got a call from someone saying they were from document delivery services. They said they had legal papers to deliver to me at home or work between 8 and 4. They said they would only try twice and if I didn't sign it would go forward without me.

The whole thing felt strange. They said I could press one or call 888-843-1510 with file number 2026 658755. They also said the call was logged as proof I was notified. No company name was given and I don't owe anyone anything.
