Someone called from a DoorDash number about a glitch in my order
It seemed real because they had all that info and the number checked out. I don’t know who else would know that stuff except the driver. They changed my email and I couldn’t get into my account anymore. Called DoorDash after and they said they couldn’t do anything or even find my account. Lost $500.
Call from DoorDash after my order saying they needed to switch me to Uber
They already had my phone number and name. Then they asked for my email and card details. I gave them my card info but then I got suspicious and blocked my card. They put me on hold and I just hung up.
Their number was (888) 414-1045.
Got a suspicious call about my order after a DoorDash text
A man said the driver was having trouble with the app and the server and needed to contact me by phone. He asked me to confirm my phone number. I repeated back what he said, like “your app server is down and you need my phone number?” and asked if that was right. There was just a long pause and then he hung up.
I contacted the actual driver and he said he didn’t make any request like that. The whole thing felt off.
Got a scam call while delivering, lost over $2,000
They told me all my DoorDash information. They knew the last time I was active. They knew a lot about my activity and I never gave them anything. They even knew my bank information. I ended up sending them the money I made from DoorDash. They said they would release it back to me. I lost $2,100. I want people to know about this.
Got a fake DoorDash text that knew my order and driver's name
They got an Uber Eats code and then tried to get a code from my email. The email was tied to my Uber account from an old job I had like ten years ago. The whole thing felt off. The number was 1(888) 414-1045.
Got a scam call right after placing a DoorDash order
Then he said I would get a text and I needed to give him the code. I got the text and it literally said "DO NOT share this code with anyone. Doordash will NEVER ask you for this code." I told him I wasn't going to give him the code. He said "that message just pertains to friends and family." I hung up after that.
