They asked for insurance then wanted more money for a permit

I ordered some products from a person and they gave me this shipping company info. The address they used was 650 California St 12th Floor in San Francisco. Their website is Dsf Worldwide Trailor Made Shipping and Freight.

So I got an email from [email protected] saying my shipment was on hold until I paid $150 for insurance because it was a discrete package and VIP. I paid it. Right after that I got another email saying I needed to pay $300 more for a permit for residential delivery. That didn't make sense.

I asked for my money back and told them I was reporting them. They just said okay. I lost $150 total.
