Dryer duct cleaning never done, but they caused a water leak and damage

I got a text from [email protected], a guy saying he does dryer duct cleaning. I hired him to clean the ducts on the second floor of my home. He never did the service.

What he did do was disconnect a washer hose. That caused a big water leak. Now there's damage to the walls and the ceiling from it. I'm out $450 that I paid him. His phone number is (612) 451-3527 and he said he's based in Pittsburgh, PA. I tried to contact him about the damage and the money but got no reply. The whole thing just left me with a mess.
