Got a text from Evans Windows about install quotes near my home

I got a text message from someone named Sam with Evans Windows. They said they were working near my actual address this week doing install quotes and asked if I wanted one.

There is no company registered with that name in my state. I live in a small county, so it would be easy to know if a new business had opened here. I looked up the phone number they used, (954) 905-7677, on Google and it’s already been flagged as a scam. This whole thing felt off.
