Call saying someone applied for a card in my name from Florida

Got a call from someone saying they were from Experian. They told me there was a data breach and someone from Florida applied for a credit card using my name. Sounded official but something felt off.

I didn’t give them anything. I just hung up and called ScamPulse.com to report it. Wanted to let others know about this kind of call.

The number they called from was (650) 569-1264.
