Facebook ad for loan preapproval turned into a phishing call

I saw an ad on Facebook saying I was preapproved for something. It said to call this number 1-877-686-4426 for more info. So I called.

They asked for a bunch of my info. It felt weird but I gave it. Then they wanted money upfront. I lost $400.00. It was a phishing thing. They just took my info and my money.

The ad was on Facebook so I thought it was real. I should have known better.
