I got this letter saying my home warranty lapsed or is going to lapse. I don't have a contract with this company. I never have. They had my right address, but the letter was to an incomplete name, just my first name and the first letter of my last name. They knew my house is 101 years old. They used a fake customer ID: FHOMAGGK3343.
They claimed the home warranty was explained to me when I bought the house. I've owned the house for 33 years. He obviously couldn't tell me when I contracted with them because I've never heard of them. He said the warranty is for 3 years. He used high pressure, saying "don't you want to protect your home?" At first I said I'd call back if I wanted it. I want nothing to do with them. The "salesman" answered the phone with the name Donald, like it's his real name.
