Phone call about old payday loan debt with no proof

I got a call on Thursday, May 21, 2026 from someone at First Step Servicing. They said I owed Cash Net USA $1,250 from a payday loan. They knew my social security number and old address and could name jobs I used to have, but not where I work now.

When I asked them when I supposedly took this loan and how much exactly, they said they didn't have that information. I kept asking questions and they just said good luck, the county was going to serve me, and hung up.
