Got ripped off by a garage door repair service that changed the price

I called this garage door repair number because my torsion spring broke. They quoted me a labor fee of $375. It was a little high, but I figured it was okay since it was evening service. The guy said he had to take the springs off to measure them and give me a price. He did that and then quoted me $650 for the springs. I said fine, it was more than I wanted but he could do it right then.

Then he did the work and at the very end he tells me the price was per spring, so now it's $1500. With taxes and fees it was $1600 out the door. I was stuck. It's a complete rip off because the springs themselves don't cost anywhere near $1200. I ended up losing $1623.19 to this service at 15 Forest Glen Drive in Pottstown.
