Phone call about an old debt that switched companies on me

I got a call from Global Financial Services saying I had an old balance due. At first they said it was for one company, then they changed it and said it was for Capital One. I asked them what year the debt was from and they could not give me a straight answer.

They started talking about legal action and it felt like they were trying to scare me. I ended up making a payment plan because I was nervous. After I got off the phone I googled them and saw a lot of reviews saying they are fraudulent.

Today I talked to a supervisor and told them about the reviews. He seemed angry that I said that. I already have my bank disputing the charge. The number they called from is 1(833) 461-1877 and they had an address in TN. Their email is [email protected].
