Hired for a job but never heard back after getting my license

I applied for a closer position with Globe Life American Income Division / Weatherspoon Organization. They said I had to get a temporary license to sell insurance first. So I did that. They told me a manager would contact me within 2-3 days to start onboarding and training.

That was weeks ago. I never heard from anyone. No call, no email, nothing. I spent money on the license and got nowhere. The phone number they gave was 1(860) 744-5699 and their address is in GA. I feel like I was just used to get a license or something. Total waste of my time and I lost about 92 dollars.
