Got a text about a grant, ended up losing almost a thousand dollars.

I got a text from someone saying she gives out grants. She said she would pay my whole bill and I just had to pay half back to her. The number was (704) 819-0013 and she said she was in Charlotte, NC.

So I did that. I sent her $958. A couple days later, my bill payment was returned for Insufficient Funds. I contacted her about it and she gave me excuses. She said she had to verify the payment or that she had to switch banks. It just didn't make sense. The money was gone and I never got the grant she promised.
