Got a strange job interview confirmation for a job I never applied for

I got an email from someone named Jay Solis at Hire Standard Staffing. It was a confirmation for a "Remote Closer position" interview scheduled for February 27, 2026, at 4 PM.

The thing is, I never applied for any job with them. I don't know who Kristie is, but the email was sent to me. It had a link to join a meeting and a whole list of instructions, like to bring a resume and be five minutes early. The email ended with a warning about a strict no-show policy and said I wouldn't get to reschedule.

It felt really off to get a confirmation for an interview I never signed up for. The email came from [email protected] and had a phone number, (917) 997-1450. I'm just concerned about why my information is being used like this.
