Got a text about my home warranty expiring but I don't even have one

I got a text message acting like it was from a home warranty company. It said my warranty was expiring and I needed to renew it or something. The thing is, I don't have a home warranty. Never signed up for one.

The message came from a phone number: (888) 508-7913. It said the address was in Hawaii, USA. I didn't click anything or give them money, so I didn't lose any. But it felt off getting a message about something I don't even have. Just seems like a trick.

Got a weird call about a home warranty I don't have.

I got a call from this number, (877) 337-0709. The person said I needed to call them back about my home warranty. I don't even have a home warranty. It felt off right away. They just wanted me to call that number back. It seemed like a phishing thing, trying to get my information. Nothing happened with money, but it was still a scam attempt. I didn't call them back.
