Got a call and email about a work from home job that seems fake
I got a phone call and an email about a job opportunity to be a logistics verifier. It's supposed to be work from home. The job description said packages would be delivered to my home, I'd sign for them and then take them to USPS, UPS or a FedEx store to ship them out.
It just seemed too unreal to me. I decided to look into this company, HR-Hawkcrate. The email came from [email protected]. The phone number they used was (505) 305-0195.
After I did my research, I found out it's a big scam. I'm glad I didn't lose any money, but it was a waste of my time and it felt really off.

Got a strange job offer call from a company I never applied to
I got a call from a woman with an Indian accent. The number was (505) 594-8502. She said she was from HR-Hawkcrate and that I had applied for a position there. I have never heard of this company or applied for any job with them.
All she asked was if the email on file, [email protected], was correct and if I was over 18 years old. That was it. The whole thing felt off. I didn't give any information, but it was just a weird and unsolicited call about a job I never applied for.

Contacted about a remote job that seems like a scam
I got a call, texts, and emails from them after I put in an application on Indeed.com for a remote job. They even sent over an employment contract and everything. But the whole thing just seemed way too good to be true. Then I found someone else online who flagged this company as a scam. So I never filled out that "contract" they sent me.

Got a text about a job that sounds like a scam
I got a text about a job offer. I replied to it and then they called my phone right away. When I answered, they started telling me about this job. They said I'd be receiving and inspecting packages and then shipping them out again. They told me I'd get paid $4500 a month, and after the first month, I'd be paid every two weeks. The whole thing felt off to me. The website they gave me was a shortened link, and the email was from someone named john.watson at hr-hawkcrate.com. I looked up their address and it's in Albuquerque. I didn't lose any money, but it just doesn't seem right.
