Charged $1200 for an annual plan when I thought I was upgrading monthly

I was on a monthly subscription with Imagine.art. All over the site there are buttons to "upgrade." I clicked one and the price shown looked like a monthly rate. The part saying it was an annual charge paid upfront was in tiny, hard-to-see text. So I ended up charged about $1,200 right away. I lost the full $1200.

I saw the charge and tried to get a refund. They make you schedule a Zoom call with someone to even ask, there's no simple way to do it. I did the call and they just denied my request.

I filed a dispute with American Express after that. The company sent their policy to Amex and my dispute got closed, I didn't get my money back.
