Job offer on Indeed turned into a Microsoft Teams scam

I was contacted on Indeed about a job offer from this company. It seemed like a joke at first but I went along with it. They sent me an email telling me to contact them on Microsoft teams so I did.

We talked for a bit and then they said they needed my info to send me a check for equipment. That’s when I got suspicious. I looked up the company again and found out it is a scam.

I didn’t lose any money but I wanted to report it so nobody else falls for it.
