Job interview link asked me to pay for my own credit check

I applied for a remote Benefits Specialist job and got an email about doing an interview screening. The link in the email took me to some generic website that didn't even mention the job or where it was. Then they wanted me to get my own credit report and score and pay a fee for it. They said they'd give me a $100 bonus after I finished the screening. The whole thing just felt off. The website was jobrecruitmentpllc.com and the email came from [email protected]. I didn't pay anything but it was weird.
