Got a text about a loan application I never filled out.

I got a text message from someone named Kate at Lender Processing. The number was (877) 315-3322. She said she was calling about my personal loan application and asked if she could call me to go over it.

I never applied for any loan with them. The text ended by saying, "If no longer needed, let me know." It felt really off. I don't know how they got my number or why they think I applied. I didn't lose any money, but it seems like a scam about credit cards or loans. I just want them to stop contacting me.

Got a call from someone pretending to be Lender Processing

I got a call from a number, (877) 315-3322. The person said they were from "Lender Processing." It felt off right away. They didn't really say what company they were actually with.

They gave a website address and a physical address too. The address was 2795 E Cottonwood Parkway, Suite 1020, Salt Lake City, UT 84121. The whole thing seemed like a phishing attempt. They were just pretending to be this other company. I didn't give them any information or money, but it was still unsettling to get the call.
