Got a weird letter about my mortgage with a fake check

I got this letter in the mail. It had no company name on it, just told me to call about my mortgage. There was something in it that looks like a check, but they call it an "allocated waiver." That doesn't make any sense to me. It felt off. The letter said to call (888) 801-8190. I didn't call and I didn't send any money, but it was just strange to get. I don't know who it's really from.
