Booked a ticket through LimitedFares, they called back asking for more money.

I got scammed by LimitedFares.com last year. Now my husband is a victim too. He booked a ticket online. They say they're through American Airlines but they aren't even connected. They give you a confirmation number after you pay, so it seems like your payment went through. Then within an hour they call you back. They say your ticket isn't confirmed and try to get you to pay more money for it.

They refused to give my husband his money back. On top of all that, they asked for $300 more. All because they didn't want to cancel the ticket and give him back his money. It's a scam. If you fall into their clutches, freeze your card right away and report it to your bank.

Booked a flight and got a call demanding $400 more for standby

I booked a flight to Canada on the Limitedfares website. I got a confirmation email saying I'd have my ticket in a few minutes to a couple hours. Then I got a call from them saying I accidentally bought a standby ticket and they wanted to charge me an extra $400 for a real ticket. They told me my original purchase was non-refundable.

I called the airline directly and they had no record of me being on standby at all. So I called Limitedfares back and argued with them until they finally agreed to cancel the whole transaction. The people calling were foreigners. I recorded the calls.
