Job offer on LinkedIn turned into asking for money on WhatsApp

I got a notification about a job offer that was supposed to be from LinkedIn. I accepted the offer and then they moved me over to chatting on WhatsApp. They said there were two parts to the job, one part where you send money and one part where you don't.

They started with small transactions like $10 or $20. Then they asked for $1600 and I sent it. After that they told me someone else in the group made a mistake and everyone lost their money. Then they came back and said we were given another opportunity to fix the mistake but needed $3000. I stopped talking to them after that.
