Got a scary call about missing jury duty and had to pay over $600

I got a call from someone saying they were with local law enforcement. They told me I failed to appear for jury duty on March 15, 2026 for a child abuse case. They said they had a jury duty form with my signature on it.

To avoid legal trouble and being detained, they said I had to pay citations. They also said I needed to pay for a signature analysis for court. It was very frightening. I ended up paying $631.11 because of what they said.
