Got a suspicious check in the mail for a car wrap job
I filled out an online application for a 12-week campaign to get my car wrapped with a Luck Energy ad. They said I'd get paid $700 every week for it. Then I got a letter in the mail with a check. The letter said I had to cash the check and pay the wrap installer myself. But I saw a typo in the letter and it felt off. I googled car wrap scams and found a news story that was exactly like my situation. I'm glad I didn't cash that check.
