Ordered shoes from a website, got fake ones and now threatening emails
I bought a pair of Adidas Sambas back in November from a link someone sent me. I didn't look close enough at the time. Right away the shipping info seemed weird, talking about what time a plane landed and customs, but the company says it's in New Jersey. The website, lyvelle.com, has a lot of misspellings and mostly just sells hair extensions. They only had the shoes up for a little while.
I filed a claim with my credit card and got my money back. Then they started emailing me, demanding I pay them or return the shoes at my own cost. The address they gave is just a regular house near Las Vegas, not a business.
In January, a box finally showed up with shoes that are obviously fake. Now it's March and they're sending more emails, threatening to "escalate" and send me to collections. One email even offered a 35% discount if I pay right away. It's all just really strange and feels like a scam.
