Person on Match.com pretended to be a deployed soldier

I was talking to a guy on Match.com who said he was a U.S. military member deployed at a base in Germany. He told me he wanted a serious, long-term relationship, which is what anyone would want to hear. He mentioned he has a daughter who just turned 23 and that he was returning to Houston in July. He really pushed for us to move our conversation to WhatsApp to text.

When I checked out the number he gave me, it turned out to be a Google Voice number. The whole thing just felt off after that.
