Text about a loan I never asked for

Got a text saying "Hi used myname, this is Nancy with Mayline, Following up on a Loan request. Can I call you now? Call (855) 417-7888 or reply with a time. Stop to End."

I never asked for any loan. I don't know who Nancy is or what Mayline is. The number was (949) 607-1250 that sent it. It felt weird because they used my name but it made no sense.

I didn't lose any money but it just seemed like phishing or something. I didn't call the number back. No company name on the text besides Mayline. I just wanted to report it.
