Got a Medicare summary notice for catheters I never ordered

I got this summary notice from Medicare. It says I got urinary catheters, 300 at a time, from May all the way through September of 2025. Medicare denied it.

I never ordered any catheters. I don't need them. When I looked it up, I see this same company has had the exact same complaint from a lot of other people. It's the same thing.

Someone filed false Medicare claims in my name for a second time

I got a notice about claims filed with Medicare that weren't from me. This is the second time this exact thing has happened. Someone is using my Medicare account.

I already filed a fraud alert with Medicare about it. The money they tried to get was for $13,500. The address they used is 1805 S Bellaire St in Denver, CO. There was also a phone number connected to it: (720) 986-4960.

This has got to stop. These scammers are just stealing from our Medicare accounts.

My Medicare summary shows charges for catheters I never got.

I was looking at my Medicare summary and there are a lot of charges on there. They are all for a 300 intermittent urinary catheter. I never ordered any catheters and I definitely never received 300 of them. This doesn't make any sense to me.

The charges are just listed there. I don't know where they came from or who submitted them. It's on my official summary so it seems like Medicare paid for something that wasn't for me. I just want these incorrect charges taken off my record.

Found a fake claim for a catheter I never had on my Medicare.

I got a claim statement for Part B Medicare. It covered from April 3rd to September 22nd of 2025. I noticed July 2025 was missing from it. So I went and looked online at my Medicare claims, and I found out a claim for July 14th, 2025, had actually processed a long time ago.

It was for an intermittent urinary catheter. I never had that. Never used one.
Each month the Medicare-approved amount was $2,250.00. Medicare paid $1,764.00 each month, and they said I may be billed $450 each month. Our secondary insurance, New Era Life, already paid that amount for July. They've been charged for the rest of the months, too. I called them and let them know about the fraud.

They're sending me a new Medicare number and card now.

Got a text about signing up for Medicare that I never asked for

I got a text message about signing up for Medicare. I did not open it. The text came from the phone number (888) 848-7194. I never signed up for anything or asked for information. It felt like a scam pretending to be from a government agency. I just ignored it, but it was an unwanted message.

Got a weird call about a Medicare wellness update

I got a call from someone saying they were with Medicare. They said it was part of a "wellness update" and they needed to review my current health status. It felt off right away. They gave me a number to call back: 971-346-9225. I didn't call it. I never signed up for any update like this. It just seemed strange to get a call out of the blue asking for my health information.

Got a weird text about a Medicare wellness update

I got a text message saying I'm due for a Medicare-covered wellness update. It said they need to review my health status and make sure preventive screenings are documented.

The text told me to call back at (917) 210-7675 for more info. I don't recognize this number. It felt off because I never signed up for any updates like this.

I looked up the number and it seems suspicious. I didn't call them or give any information, but getting a message like this out of the blue is concerning.

Received a call about Medicare fraud, now seeing charges on my statements

I got a call from Medicare back in July. They said my Medicare number was used fraudulently and that I'd get a new card. Then I got a quarterly statement from Medicare. It showed they paid out $7,056.00. After that, I got an Explanation of Benefits from CHAMPVA too.

I called Medicare to report the fraud on November 15th. I called CHAMPVA on the 17th and spoke to someone named Aislinn and opened a claim. But today, on February 3rd, I got another Explanation of Benefits from CHAMPVA with the same charges. From what I can see, it looks like Medicare is the only one who actually paid that $7056.
