Instagram ad for MeltDrops using fake Oprah and doctor endorsement

I saw this ad on Instagram. It was supposed to be about women’s weight loss using AI. They said they would give the recipe and exact measurements to watchers. I watched the whole thing and they never did. It just turned into a pitch for this product called MeltDrops.

That’s when I knew it was a scam. They used a real doctor’s name, Dr. Ania who is an obesity specialist from Yale. And they had a fake talk show clip with Oprah and Jenna and Sheinelle from TODAY/NBC NEWS. There are so many of these AI weight loss videos using Oprah.

Their website is getmeltdrops.com and the phone number is 1(323) 287-9905. I didn’t buy anything but it felt really dishonest.
